I started filming hockey on an iPhone at 17. By 19 I had covered more than 20 teams across Minnesota and built something I didn't expect, a real body of work.

Built from the ground up.

Kirmedia didn't come from a business plan. It started with a camera, a hockey rink, and a willingness to figure things out the hard way.

He moved from filming hockey to running a lead generation agency made sense to me before it made sense on paper. The same thinking that made the camera work, watching what lands, cutting what doesn't, adjusting until it's right, is what most marketing skips entirely.

Competed internationally in DECA

Applied the same efficiency thinking that built the camera work to business competition. Reached international level.

2025

Started on an iPhone

Senior year of high school. No equipment, no crew. Learned social media, graphic design, and video entirely on my own while covering a full hockey season on a phone camera.

2025

Upgraded and went professional

Freshman year of college. Invested in proper equipment and started taking on teams across Minnesota. By the end of the season I had filmed more than 20 teams."

2026

Founded Kirmedia

Pivoted from hockey videography to lead generation. The production skills transferred. The obsession with results stayed the same.

FIRST Robotics — Fundraising Captain

Led fundraising for a competitive robotics program that reached international competition. Learned what it takes to build something from nothing and make it perform under pressure.

Hockey - Minnesota High-School Hockey

Covered two full seasons of competitive hockey across Minnesota. Started on an iPhone. Built it into a professional operation covering the top varsity teams in the state.
